Partner HotSpots™ Starting at $39.95
With HotSpots™ Partner Exercise floor spots, students work together in pairs to provide the
manual resistance necessary to complete the exercises. Because the partners supply the
exercise resistance, no additional equipment is required. While performing the selected
exercises, a variety of muscle groups will be worked with the spotter controlling exercise speed
and resistance. Note that on Partner Exercise HotSpots™, the spotter, or person supplying the
resistance, is identified on the spots as the figure having hands. The partner performing the
exercise likewise can be identified as the figure depicted on the spots without hands.
Keep your whole class moving, learning, and building strength at each stop of this fun, action-
packed circuit. Great for developing strength, flexibility, social skills, and more. Sets include 12
unique spots, each one detailing a specific exercise, covering a full range of upper- and lower-
body exercises, plus an activity instruction sheet. Heavy-duty thermoplastic spots measure 8-1/2"
dia.
Safety Precautions
1. When performing partner exercises, it is important that the spotter attempts to keep smooth
even tension on the muscle group being worked at all times. A spotter must never apply sudden
unexpected resistance.
2. Whenever possible, pair students of the same gender and physical abilities when
performing partner exercises.
Exercise Guidelines
1. Partners should first study exercises before attempting to perform them. While performing
the exercises, partners need to communicate whether more or less resistance should be applied.
2. Exercises should be performed using slow and controlled movements with spotter applying
even resistance.
3. For an enhanced workout, maximum resistance may be applied only after several
repetitions have been completed.
4. To avoid muscles from being forced back to their starting position, it may be necessary to
reduce resistance during the lowering portion of exercises.
5. While the exercise is transitioning from raising to lowering, it is critical that partners work
together to make certain this portion of the exercise happens smoothly and with control.
6. For a good overall workout, both upper and lower body exercises should be performed.
7. Have partners switch positions at each station so both students have the opportunity to
experience the workout.
